Q1 GDP data: Indian economy grows 7.8% in April-June quarter, government data shows

India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 7.8 per cent in the April-June quarter of FY 24, compared to 13.1% growth rate witnessed in Q1 of FY 2022-23, data released by government showed.The Central government's NSO office on Thursday released the GDP figures for the first quarter of the new financial year.
