China crude imports up 14% on year ahead of peak travel
Friday, 13 October 2023 China's crude oil imports in September increased by almost 14% compared to the same period last year, as refiners ramped up purchases ahead of the Golden Week travel period. Shipments reached 45.74 million metric tons, or 11.13 million barrels per day (bpd), according to data from the General Administration of Customs.
