L&T bags EPC contract from GMR for Bhogapuram airport construction in AP

L&T Construction has won a large EPC contract to build the Bhogapuram international airport in Andhra Pradesh. The project, valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore, will initially have a capacity to handle 6 million passengers per annum, which will later be increased to 12 million. The contract includes various development works such as terminal construction, airfield development, landside facilities, and utilities. L&T Construction is already involved in the construction of major airports in several cities across India.
