Passenger demand recovery continued in October, while cargo demand stayed strong: IATA

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), in its report, announced that the recovery in passenger demand continued in October while the cargo demand also stayed stronger. According to IATA, the total traffic increased by 31 percent as compared to October 2022. Globally, traffic is now at 98.2% of pre-COVID levels. In its monthly traffic report, IATA said that the domestic traffic for December of this year rose by 33.7 percent as compared to the October 2022.
