AirAsia to add over 1.5 million seats between India and Malaysia in 2024

IndiaTimes Thursday, 7 December 2023
AirAsia plans to increase flight frequency between Malaysia and India to 69 weekly flights by 2024. The increase is in response to the Malaysian government's 30-day visa-free entry for Indian travelers. This initiative also coincides with visa-free entry initiatives in Thailand and Vietnam. AirAsia's Fly-Thru service allows Indian travelers to explore other ASEAN nations. AirAsia India officially ended operations and was rebranded as AIX Connect, to merge with Air India Express.
