Max Healthcare Institute to acquire Starlit Medical Centre at enterprise value of Rs 940 crore
Friday, 8 December 2023 Max Healthcare Institute Ltd will fully acquire Starlit Medical Centre Pvt Ltd for Rs 940 crore, gaining ownership of 550-bedded Sahara Hospital in Lucknow. The acquisition was executed through a binding share purchase agreement for 100% stake and a slump sale basis. This marks Max Healthcare's entry into Lucknow, a fast-growing city in Uttar Pradesh. Sahara Hospital is a tertiary care hospital offering integrated healthcare services with all super specialties and diagnostic facilities under one roof. Max Healthcare aims to improve operating and financial performance through post-merger integration and the excellence of its clinicians.
