Max Healthcare Institute to acquire Starlit Medical Centre at enterprise value of Rs 940 crore

Max Healthcare Institute Ltd will fully acquire Starlit Medical Centre Pvt Ltd for Rs 940 crore, gaining ownership of 550-bedded Sahara Hospital in Lucknow. The acquisition was executed through a binding share purchase agreement for 100% stake and a slump sale basis. This marks Max Healthcare's entry into Lucknow, a fast-growing city in Uttar Pradesh. Sahara Hospital is a tertiary care hospital offering integrated healthcare services with all super specialties and diagnostic facilities under one roof. Max Healthcare aims to improve operating and financial performance through post-merger integration and the excellence of its clinicians.
