Fitch raises India's growth forecast for next fiscal to 7%

Rating agency Fitch raised its forecast for India's economic growth on Thursday, projecting a 7 per cent expansion in the next fiscal year starting on April 1 on the back of strong domestic demand and a sustained level of business and consumer confidence, with 8.4 per cent growth in gross domestic product (GDP) during the third quarter of current fiscal year.
