On April 13, Grimes' Coachella set was plagued by technical issues that prompted her to belt her frustrations into the microphone, CNN reports. .
She reportedly screamed in frustration several times, repeatedly stopped songs and told the audience that her tracks were "double the tempo," which was causing issues.
Grimes ultimately left the stage midway through performing "Genesis," and her set was cut short.
In her apology, Grimes described the
incident as "sonic chaos on my end trying to guess how stuff was sounding for u guys.".
I want to apologize for the technical
issues with the show tonight, Grimes, via X.
Usually I always handle every aspect of my
show myself – to save time this was one of
the first times I’ve outsourced essential things
like rekordbox bpm’s and letting someone
else organize the tracks on the sd card etc, Grimes, via X.
Grimes continued, saying that she
“will personally organize all the files next week” and there were “good lessons learned.”.
I will not let such a thing happen again. I’ve
spent months on this show, making music
and visuals, and admittedly am not in the
best mood atm. But, yeh - next week will be
flawless, everything will run thru my hands, Grimes, via X.
Plz forgive me! Love, always, Grimes, via X.
While the disastrous set prompted
mixed reactions, many expressed
empathy for what Grimes experienced.
I love Grimes's music, and the pressure
must be crazy to do a show like this - but
her show at Coachella is the musician's
version of nightmares where your
teeth fall out and everyone laughs. , @GhostTrainNFTs, via X

claimed he was taking Tesla private, which shocked the
market and caused shares in the company to surge.
The SEC deemed the tweets
"materially false and misleading,"
and in clear violation of securities laws.
At the time, Musk agreed to settle the issue
with the SEC, which included his signing off
on the so-called "Twitter sitter" provision.
NBC reports that Musk has since said
the restrictions are unconstitutional and that
he was coerced into signing the SEC agreement.
According to court papers, lawyers
representing Musk have accused the SEC
of waging an "ongoing campaign" against Musk.
Musk's legal team claim the provision , "restricts Mr. Musk’s speech even

It extends to speech not

underlying the SEC’s civil action, Elon Musk legal team, via NBC.
In response, the SEC said in court papers
that Musk waived his right to appeal
