Vishal: Tough to raise funds even with stars like Tabu

Vishal Bhardwaj's film "Khufiya" is receiving a lot of praise. Initially conceived in 2016 with the late Irrfan Khan in mind, it was later reimagined with Tabu as the lead. Despite Tabu's acclaim, securing funding for a female-led film was challenging. Vishal commented on the industry's budget disparities, comparing his situation to filmmakers like Rohit Shetty. "Khufiya" is adapted from Amar Bhushan's "Escape to Nowhere". Prior to this, Vishal faced interruptions in other projects, but remained persistent in his cinematic pursuits.
