The 1991 blockbuster film 'Sadak' was initially supposed to star Jackie Shroff, but the role eventually went to Sanjay Dutt, who had a career-defining performance. However, the real standout of the film was Sadashiv Amrapurkar, who played the antagonist and won a Filmfare Award for his portrayal. 'Sadak' was praised for its storytelling, acting, and music, particularly the chemistry between Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. A sequel, 'Sadak 2,' was released but was met with negative reviews and deemed a disaster.
