Hrithik's Fighter Box Office Decoded

IndiaTimes Friday, 2 February 2024
Hrithik Roshan's film "Fighter" experienced a significant box office dip, earning only Rs 8 crore on Monday and Rs 7.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 6.5 crore on Wednesday and Rs 6 crore on Thursday after an initial Republic Day surge. Trade analysts attribute the decline to the film lacking a strong audience connection, with content perceived as routine and lacking a "WOW factor." Despite the star power of Hrithik and Deepika, the film is criticized for being classy and stylish without sufficient mass appeal. Analysts note that Hrithik Roshan doesn't enjoy the same mass connect as Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan, affecting the film's reach and word of mouth.
