Upskill with course in robotics, IS handler told terrorists: NIA
Sunday, 2 July 2023 Five mechanical and electrical engineers, among the nine accused chargesheeted by NIA in the IS Shivamogga conspiracy case, were asked by their foreign-based handler to pursue a course in robotics to pick up skills to carry out terrorist attacks as part of terror group Islamic State's subversive agenda for India.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) detained Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taahaa, key suspects in the Bengaluru cafe blast. Muzammil Shareef was also arrested for aiding the blast. Associated with ISIS modules, they were involved in various terror activities. The blast injured nine, emphasizing the urgency of apprehending remaining suspects.
