Cauvery row: M K Stalin seeks Centre's help to rein in defiant Karnataka government

Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Thursday alleged that the Karnataka government had not been releasing Tamil Nadu's due share of Cauvery water even after the Cauvery Water Management Authority intervened. He urged Union jal shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to intervene and ask the authority to issue directions to Karnataka to abide by the Supreme Court order to release water and make good the shortfall.
