Gyanvapi case: SC orders ASI to stop ongoing mosque survey till 5pm July 26

The Supreme Court on Monday ordered a halt to the ongoing Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) survey work at the disputed site of Gynavapi Mosque until 5pm on Wednesday (July 26). A 30-member ASI had entered the Gyanvapi complex early on Monday morning to carry out a scientific survey in accordance with court orders to determine if the mosque located next to the Kashi Vishwanath temple was built upon a temple.
