Aditya-L1: Countdown for launch of India's maiden solar mission begins

The countdown for the launch of India's maiden solar mission, Aditya L1, has commenced, The Indian Space Research Organisation said on Friday. "The 23-hour 40-minute countdown leading to the launch at 11:50 Hrs. IST on September 2, 2023, has commended today at 12:10 hrs," Isro said. Isro on Wednesday confirmed that it had successfully performed the launch rehearsal of its upcoming mission as well as completed the rocket's internal checks.
