BJP names Dinesh Sharma as its Rajya Sabha candidate from UP

The BJP on Sunday nominated former Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Dinesh Sharma for the Rajya Sabha seat that fell vacant following the demise of party MP Haridwar Dubey in June earlier this year. The by-poll for the seat is due on September 15.
