G20 Summit: PM Modi announces launch of Global Biofuel Alliance
India announced the formation of the Global Biofuel Alliance on Saturday, urging G20 nations to join the project in order to increase global ethanol blending with gasoline to 20%. Speaking at the G20 Summit session on 'One Earth,' Prime Minister Narendra Modi also advocated creating the 'G20 Satellite Mission for Environment and Climate Observation' and asked leaders to begin work on the 'Green Credit Initiative'.
