Criminals given free pass in Rajasthan, state benevolent to terrorists: PM Narendra Modi
Tuesday, 26 September 2023
Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party in Rajasthan of being lenient towards criminals, terrorists, and engaging in appeasement politics. He criticized the state government for its inadequate response to the beheading of a tailor last year and accused the Congress of attempting to eradicate the identity of Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion). Modi made these comments during a rally in Jaipur, where thousands of women dressed up to show their support for the Prime Minister and to express gratitude for the Women's Reservation Bill. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's absence at the event sparked speculation among party workers.
