After Lok Sabha remark showcause, MP Ramesh Bidhuri gets Rajasthan election assignment
Thursday, 28 September 2023 The BJP has assigned Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri the responsibility of managing the party's campaign in Tonk district, Rajasthan. The district has a significant Gujjar population, and Bidhuri, who belongs to the same caste, is expected to help the party gain their votes. The district also has a large Muslim population, which some believe could lead to polarization among voters. Bidhuri previously faced criticism for derogatory comments against BSP MP Danish Ali.
Two important seats, Amethi & Raebareli, are also up for polling today as the Lok Sabha elections enter their fifth phase.
