Wednesday, 18 October 2023 The ruling Congress in Chhattisgarh has released its second list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. The list includes 53 candidates, with 25 incumbents being retained, 10 dropped, and 17 new faces introduced. So far, the Congress has announced a total of 83 candidates for the 90-member assembly. The party has dropped one legislator involved in a charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate, while another controversial legislator has been replaced.
