Friday prayers at Srinagar Jamia Masjid barred for 2nd week
Apprehending protests and demonstrations over the Israel-Palestine war, the J&K administration barred Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid in downtown Srinagar for the second consecutive week. In a statement, the mosque’s management board, Anjuman Auqaf, said police closed the entry gates of Jamia Masjid and directed the body not to open them for Friday prayers.
