Monday, 23 October 2023 Darshan Hiranandani, the businessman involved in the 'cash for query' scandal, stated that he was not pressured to sign the affidavit on the controversy surrounding TMC MP Mahua Moitra. Hiranandani said he regretted using Moitra's parliament login credentials and emphasized that he had nothing more to add. He also mentioned that Moitra believed attacking businessman Gautam Adani would target the Prime Minister due to their perceived proximity. Hiranandani declined to comment on the gifts he allegedly gave Moitra but expressed willingness to cooperate with authorities if required.
