In a first, EU to appoint military adviser in India
The European Union (EU) will appoint a military attaché in India for the first time to strengthen security and defense ties with the country. This move is part of the EU's Indo-Pacific strategy and its efforts to play a more significant geopolitical role in the region. The EU currently has military attachés in only a few countries. The appointment will take place next month and signifies the deepening cooperation in defense and security between India and the EU.
