Thursday, 26 October 2023 The ethics committee of the Indian Parliament has summoned Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to record her statement on October 31 in response to "cash for query" allegations made against her by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai. The committee has also requested assistance from the ministries of home affairs and IT to provide details about conversations between Moitra, Dehadrai, and businessman Darshan Hiranandani. Moitra has been accused of raising questions in Parliament in exchange for favors from Hiranandani.
