"Bharat" gains momentum as a proposal to the cnion Cabinet replaces "India" entirely, aligning with the Modi administration's preference for the country's nomenclature. This marks the first Cabinet proposal to consistently use "Bharat" in all aspects, including logistics costs, cargo modal share, and the nation's economy. Sources indicate that "Bharat" is likely to feature more prominently in government documents in the future. They noted that both the terms have been used interchangeably in the constitution.
