Friday, 27 October 2023 A partial lunar eclipse is set to occur on Saturday and Sunday, offering a celestial spectacle for skygazers and astronomy enthusiasts. The eclipse will be visible from every corner of India, with the best viewing time occurring around midnight. The umbral phase of the eclipse will begin at 01:05 AM IST on Sunday and last for approximately 1 hour and 19 minutes. During this phase, the moon will be partially immersed in the earth's umbra, resulting in a reddish or coppery hue known as a 'blood moon'.
