Gwalior, Kozhikode now on Unesco list of creative cities

Unesco has added two Indian cities, Gwalior and Kozhikode, to its Creative Cities Network. Gwalior was included in the 'Music' category, while Kozhikode made the list in the 'Literature' category. The cities were acknowledged for their commitment to utilizing culture and creativity for urban development. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the announcement and stated that it showcased India's cultural vibrancy. The newly designated Creative Cities will participate in the 2024 UCCN Annual Conference.
