Lok Sabha polls 6 months away, AAP in a huddle after summons to Arvind Kejriwal

IndiaTimes Thursday, 2 November 2023
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is concerned after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summonsed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to face questions in an alleged liquor policy scandal. With other prominent AAP members already in jail on the same case, the party is discussing how to handle the crisis. Suggestions have included Kejriwal skipping the summons and approaching the courts, but it is unclear whether he will comply or not. The possibility of Kejriwal's arrest has left the party worried, as they lack senior members who can take control in his absence. AAP believes the BJP is trying to crush them ahead of upcoming elections.
