I was stupid to have made Manjhi CM: Nitish Kumar

IndiaTimes Thursday, 9 November 2023
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has sparked controversy once again by lashing out at Mahadalit leader Jitan Ram Manjhi during a debate on raising the quota cap. Nitish became angry when Manjhi suggested that reservations alone were not enough for the upliftment of dalits. The outburst has raised concerns about Nitish's emotional fragility and mental strength, with opponents calling for his resignation. Manjhi, who belongs to a poor and weak community, criticized Nitish for targeting him and called for similar action against other politicians.
