Woman’s body found near Mumbai-Nagpur e-way, human sacrifice likely, say cops

The body of an unidentified woman with her throat slit was found in a forested stretch near a toll plaza in Nagpur. The police suspect the possibility of human sacrifice due to the woman being draped in a new saree and having vermilion on her head, which are associated with witchcraft rituals. Various items were found near the body, including used condom packets and a gold-plated earring. The police are investigating the case and have reached out to neighboring states for assistance.
