BJP declares ‘war’ on 'grand alliance' to depose Nitish Kumar govt in Bihar

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 15 November 2023
The BJP in Bihar organized the Govardhan Mahotsav, a festival of the Yadav caste and cow-tenders from other castes, to strengthen its social combination and defeat the Grand Alliance in upcoming elections. BJP state president Samrat Choudhary claimed that 21,000 Yadav caste people joined the party on the occasion. Union minister Nityanand Rai announced a "Mahabharata war" against the ruling alliance and stated that the newly formed social combination would help the BJP win all parliamentary seats in 2024 and form a government in 2025.
