2 years on, government names SC collegium pick as Bombay HC additional judge

The law ministry on Thursday notified appointment of advocate Somasekhar Sundaresan as additional judge of the Bombay HC, almost two years after his name was cleared by the Supreme Court collegium. Sundaresan was among five other advocates whose names were reiterated by the apex court collegium this year, brushing aside requests from the Centre for reconsideration of their appointment as judges of different high courts.
