'Narrow minded': SC junks plea to ban Pakistan artistes
Asking a petitioner not to be "so narrow-minded", the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed his petition seeking a complete ban on all kinds of association or employment of Pakistani artistes in India. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and S V N Bhatti refused to interfere with the Bombay HC order which had also rejected the plea for not allowing artistes from Pakistan to perform in the country. "You should not press this appeal. Do not be so narrow-minded," the bench said.
