Kalol man installs cameras to watch wife, deserts her after she protests

A woman from Ahmedabad filed a complaint alleging that her husband installed CCTV cameras in their house to keep an eye on her. He assaulted her and deserted her and their daughter due to marital discord. The woman had married a man from Rajasthan and they divorced. She then married a man from Kalol, who promised to adopt her daughter but later refused and started fighting with her over domestic issues. The husband installed four CCTV cameras in their house and would scold her when he saw lights or fans on. When she broke the cameras, he beat her up and deserted her.
