No case against Gupta in records: Gujarat cops
After the US on Wednesday announced the filing of "murder-for-hire" charges against Indian national Nikhil Gupta for allegedly plotting to kill Khalistani separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in New York, the Gujarat Police on Thursday scanned their records to find if Gupta was involved in any offence, and said they did not find any case against him. The indictment in the case said Gupta had described his involvement in international narcotics and weapons trafficking in his communications with CC-1 and others.
