PM Modi meets Guterres, Sunak, Lula, other world leaders on COP28 sidelines
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the UN climate summit in Dubai. They discussed India's initiatives and progress in achieving climate goals, India's G20 Presidency, climate action, finance, technology, and multilateral governance. Guterres appreciated India's efforts in sustainable development, bank reforms, and disaster management. He also welcomed Modi's Green Credit Initiative. They affirmed to work together at the UN Summit of the Future 2024.
