Businessman in debt smothers wife, 7-yr-old son to death day before their birthday

A businessman in Kalyan, Deepak Gaikwad, smothered his wife and son to death and left a suicide note. The police are searching for him, suspecting heavy debt as the motive. Deepak owned Nidhi Research Finance and ran several businesses in Kalyan. He called his employee, Akash Surwade, to confess the murder and suicide attempt. Deepak's family was reserved and had little interaction with neighbors. The Mahatma Phule police station is registering a murder case against him.
