Acting director of Enforcement Directorate Rahul Navin set to be agency chief
Rahul Navin, acting director of Enforcement Directorate, has been empanelled as additional secretary by the appointments committee of the Cabinet, potentially paving the way for his regularisation as head of the agency. Navin, a 1993-batch Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer took over as acting director of ED on September 15 after retirement of the then director SK Mishra. Navin was the special director in the agency where he has been on deputation since 2020.
