Terror conspiracy: NIA raids multiple J&K locations
Tuesday, 5 December 2023 NIA raids in J&K target hybrid terrorists and overground workers associated with offshoots of banned Pakistan-based terror outfits: LeT, Jaish, Hizbul Mujahideen, Al-Badr, al-Qaeda. Raids conducted at residences in Poonch, Shopian, Pulwama, Baramulla, Srinagar, Ganderbal, and Kupwara. Pakistan-based handlers used social media and drones for promoting terror and delivering arms/ammunition, explosives, and narcotics to operatives in Kashmir Valley.
Continuous heavy rainfall has battered numerous areas of Jammu and Kashmir, compelling the Union territory administration to take precautionary measures by closing schools across the Kashmir valley and Reasi district, as reported by officials. The persistent downpour in recent days has inflicted severe damage in various regions. Flash floods and landslides, triggered by the torrential rain, have affected parts of Poonch and northern Kashmir, resulting in damage to both public infrastructure and private property.
