RLD to reconsider staying in INDIA bloc
In the wake of Congress's defeat in MP, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh elections, RLD is reconsidering its decision to be part of the INDIA alliance for the Lok Sabha elections. RLD national vice-president Shahid Siddiqui stated that the party will hold a high-level meeting to decide its future course of action. RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary may not attend the INDIA bloc meeting. RLD, an ally of Congress, won only one seat in Rajasthan and is seeking to consolidate its position in west UP.
