Bring Pannun plotter to justice: US official to India in New Delhi
US principal deputy NSA Jon Finer raised the issue of the alleged involvement of an Indian official in the plot to assassinate Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun during his visit to India. He held talks with Indian deputy NSA Vikram Misri, foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra, and met with foreign minister S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval. The US acknowledged India's establishment of an enquiry committee to investigate the plot and emphasized the importance of holding accountable anyone found responsible.
