Wednesday, 6 December 2023 Properties of four PoK-based terrorists were attached by police in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The terrorists had illegally crossed over the border into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for arms and ammunition training, cops said on Wednesday. The immovable properties were attached on Tuesday and Wednesday (December 5 and 6) in pursuance of a government order in a case registered at Ganderbal police station, said a police spokesperson. On Tuesday, the properties of Lateef Khan alias Sajad, Mohammad Hussain Shah, and Waliullah, all in the Gutlibagh area were attached, said the spokesperson.
Continuous heavy rainfall has battered numerous areas of Jammu and Kashmir, compelling the Union territory administration to take precautionary measures by closing schools across the Kashmir valley and Reasi district, as reported by officials. The persistent downpour in recent days has inflicted severe damage in various regions. Flash floods and landslides, triggered by the torrential rain, have affected parts of Poonch and northern Kashmir, resulting in damage to both public infrastructure and private property.
