Muslim woman assaulted by brother-in-law for voting for BJP in MP's Sehore
The 30-year-old woman was assaulted on December 4, a day after the election results were announced for four states, including Madhya Pradesh. Narrating her ordeal, Samina said, "My family and I were jubilant over the BJP's victory on December 4. However, this celebration unveiled my vote for BJP instead of Congress, which enraged my brother-in-law, Javed". "Initially he hurled abuses, but later Javed physically assaulted me with sticks. He was supported by my husband during the altercation," Samina claimed.
