Shah also claims that Nehru delayed the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India, allowing Pakistan to occupy a portion of the state. Furthermore, he accuses Nehru of denying the rights of Scheduled Tribes and poor people of Kashmir by not implementing certain laws. Lastly, Shah asserts that Nehru's policies weakened India's national security and led to the 1962 war with China.
