Chennai boy, 3, falls to death from 8th floor
A three-year-old boy, Aarav, fell to his death from the eighth floor of a 20-storey building in Chennai on Monday. Cops said the boy and his parents — Manikandan (33) and Jiji (29)were returning to their flat. When the lift reached their floor, the couple came out, but before Aarav could wheel out his bicycle, the doors of the lift closed and it began moving up. Aarav came out on the 8th floor, and looked for his parents. He, however, slipped through the grille on the balcony and died.
