India rejects statement by Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Supreme Court verdict on Article 370
India has rejected a statement issued by the OIC on a judgment of the Supreme Court upholding the abrogation of Article 370 that guaranteed special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The OIC on Wednesday expressed concern over the court order which ruled that Article 370 was a temporary provision. The OIC General Secretariat reiterated its call to reverse all illegal and unilateral measures taken by India ever since, seeking to change the internationally-recognised disputed status of the territory.
