Indian-American lawmakers warn of damage to ties from Pannun case
The Biden administration is pressuring New Delhi over the alleged plot to assassinate Khalistani militant Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Indian-American lawmakers revealed that the administration provided them with a classified briefing on the "murder-for-hire plot of an American citizen." They are demanding action against Indian government officials involved in the episode and warning that failure to take corrective steps could harm bilateral ties.
