Gangster nabbed, injured after police encounter in Patiala

Patiala police arrest alleged gangster Malkit Singh alias Chitta after an encounter near Passiana. The accused, wanted in a murder case, opened fire on the police, who retaliated and injured him. He had a criminal record with six cases of murder, attempt to murder, and robberies. The police recovered an illegal 32 bore pistol and six cartridges. He was taken to the hospital, and a separate case was registered for illegal arms at Pasiana police station.
