Task force established to raise production, make agriculture sustainable, and protect crops from nature's vagaries. Launch of "Onion Mahabank" with the help of top nuclear scientist Anil Kakodkar and vice-chancellor Sachinanda Mohanty. Successful use of irradiation nuclear technology on onion samples.
