Employees lodged complaints with the labour ministry and metrology department, resulting in show cause notices issued to the CEO. Dubai Floods: Air India, IndiGo Dubai flights face cancellation amid adverse weather | Oneindia

The United Arab Emirates witnessed an unprecedented deluge, marking its most substantial rainfall on record since 1949. Described as a "historic weather event" by the state-run WAM news agency, the widespread downpour across the UAE is attributed to a combination of factors, including cloud seeding initiatives. Significant disruptions have been reported in flights from India to Dubai due to heavy rains causing flooding at the emirate's airport, one of the world's busiest. Air India, operating 72 weekly flights from multiple Indian cities to Dubai, alongside IndiGo, have cancelled their services on Wednesday. Other carriers, including Air India Express, Vistara, and SpiceJet, which also serve various Indian cities to Dubai routes, have been affected as well. Dubai, hosting a substantial Indian diaspora, sees these flight cancellations impacting travel plans and connections for many. #DubaiRains #DubaiFlightsCancelled #AirIndia #IndiGo #FlightsCancelledDubai #dubaiflood #dubaifloodnewstoday2024 #dubaifloodinglive #dubaifloodslatestnewstoday #dubaifloodnewstoday #dubaiflood2024 #dubaifloodnews #dubaiflood2024live #dubaifloodvideo #Oneindia #Oneindia news ~PR.152~ED.101~GR.121~HT.96~
